NFI Advisory Board Slate of NominationsOctober 31, 2019The Narrow Fabrics Institute nominations committee met to review nominations for this year's NFI Advisory Board election. I am pleased to announce, on the Committee's behalf, that the following nominees are being recommended for the position as of October 28, 2019. Directors/ Serving 1st Three-Year Term Mark Harries, Bally Ribbon Mills Wayne Heilman, Wayne Mills Company Jordan Krauss, American Cord and Webbing Co, Inc. Michael McGrath, Kamber Narrow Fabric Machinery, LLC The committee thoughtfully reviewed the qualifications of all applicants. Every attempt was made to select individuals who could provide a spectrum of representation on the advisory board including size of company and experience with association or industry issues. An opportunity is available, however, through the Operating Guidelines for additional candidates (independent nominations) to be considered by the membership. Independent nominations must be submitted in writing, addressed to me and received at IFAI headquarters in Roseville no later than the close of the business day on Ocotber 28, 2019. The letter must be accompanied by a petition / letter of support signed by at least fifty (50) members in good standing from the General (voting) member category. If no other nominations are received by that date, I am authorized by the Operating Guidelines to place a unanimous vote for the slate of candidates recommended by the Nominations Committee. If, however, independent candidates are proposed and meet the qualifications, an electronic ballot will then be sent out on to all voting members for consideration.
